General information

The content on SoftStore.pk — product descriptions, pricing pages, feature explanations, help articles and marketing copy — is provided for general information about the platform. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that every page is complete, error-free, or up to date at the moment you read it.

Where a page describes how a feature behaves, that description reflects the platform as built. Features change. If a specific behaviour matters to a decision you are about to make, ask us and get it confirmed rather than relying on a marketing page.

Marketplace listings

SoftStore.pk operates a marketplace. Products listed on it are supplied, described, priced and dispatched by independent sellers, not by SoftStore.pk.

• Product information comes from the seller. Titles, descriptions, images, specifications, expiry dates and prices are entered by the seller who lists the item. We do not independently verify every listing.
• We are not the seller of record for marketplace items. The contract of sale for a marketplace order is between the buyer and that seller.
• Availability is not guaranteed by a listing. Stock is held by the seller and can be sold at their physical counter between the moment you see it and the moment you order.
• Reviews and ratings are user-generated. They reflect the opinions of the people who wrote them, not a position of SoftStore.pk.

If a listing is inaccurate, misleading, prohibited or counterfeit, report it and we will review it. Verified violations lead to listing removal and, on repetition, store suspension — see the seller policy on the pricing page.

Seller conduct

Sellers are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own licensing, tax registration, product legality, pricing, packaging, dispatch times and after-sale conduct. Verification of a seller means their submitted identity and business documents were reviewed — it is not a guarantee of product quality, nor an endorsement of that seller by SoftStore.pk.

Where a seller fails to deliver, we operate a dispute process for marketplace orders. That process is a service we provide, not an assumption of the seller's obligations.

Service availability

We aim to keep the platform available and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, hosting incidents, connectivity failures at your premises, courier system outages and events outside our reasonable control can all interrupt service.

Keep your own records. The platform maintains an append-only inventory ledger and exportable sales history precisely so you are never dependent on a single copy. Export regularly. If your business cannot tolerate downtime at the counter, keep a manual fallback.

Financial & tax information

Reports, valuations, margin calculations, commission figures and analytics generated by the platform are produced from the data entered into it. Their accuracy depends entirely on the accuracy and completeness of that data.

• Any valuation or projection shown is an estimate produced by a formula, not an appraisal, an audit, or a statement of what a business is worth to a buyer.
• Figures shown on screen are not a substitute for bookkeeping and are not prepared to any accounting standard.
• Tax is your responsibility. Sales tax, income tax, FBR filings and withholding obligations are determined by your circumstances and current law. The platform can record and export what it holds, but it does not compute your tax position for you or file on your behalf.
• Where the platform states a commission percentage, the authoritative figure for any individual order is the commission ledger entry recorded against that order.

This site links to third-party services — couriers, payment providers, font and script CDNs, and external documentation. Those services are operated by other parties under their own terms and privacy policies. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SoftStore.pk is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform — including lost profit, lost sales, lost goodwill, or loss arising from data you did not export. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The binding limits are set out in the Terms & Conditions. This section is a summary of them, not a replacement for them.

Changes to this page

We may update this disclaimer as the platform changes. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting sellers are communicated before they take effect.
