About SoftStore.pk
Retail software built for how shops in Pakistan actually run.
Good retail software should not be a luxury
Give an ordinary shopkeeper the same quality of software a supermarket chain runs on, at a price a single counter can afford.
Most shops in Pakistan run on a cash drawer, a notebook and a memory for prices. That works right up until it does not — until stock walks out unnoticed, until a supplier is paid twice, until nobody can say what actually sold last month. The software that fixes that has historically been priced for chains, not for the shop on the corner.
We build for the corner shop first: cheap hosting, patchy connections, ordinary hardware, and an owner who is also the accountant, the buyer and the person on the till at 8pm.
How it is built, and why that matters to you
Three decisions shape everything else about this platform.
Strict tenant isolation
Every business operates inside its own scope, keyed on tenant_id and enforced on every request rather than left to individual queries to remember. No shop can read another shop's data.
Fast where it counts
The barcode lookup on the checkout path is indexed and kept deliberately narrow, because a register that hesitates at the counter during the evening rush is a register nobody will keep using.
An audit trail that cannot be quietly edited
Stock movements are appended, never rewritten — opening_stock, sale_deduction, purchase_addition, return_restock, damage, expired, correction. Even a correction is recorded as its own entry, so a wrong count is traceable to the moment it went wrong.
What the platform actually does
A register for your counter
Web and Android, barcode scanning, thermal receipts, split payments, held carts, returns matched against the original invoice, and per-cashier shift totals.
A storefront on the marketplace
Publish any product with one toggle. Buyers across Pakistan browse, order and pay cash on delivery, and the stock stays shared with your counter.
Stock control you can prove
Purchase orders, goods intake approval, supplier records, low-stock and expiry alerts, all behind one append-only ledger.
Reporting that answers real questions
What sold, what is dead on the shelf, which supplier costs the most, which cashier's drawer does not balance.
Put it behind your counter for 30 days
No card, no contract. If it does not earn its place, walk away and take your data with you.
